What do you love about coaching?
I have always wanted to make a positive difference in people’s lives, and coaching has given me a meaningful way to do that. What I enjoy most is supporting people to see beyond the limits they may have placed on themselves and helping them recognise their own strengths and potential.
I find it deeply rewarding to watch people grow in confidence, gain clarity, and discover new possibilities for their lives. Often, through the coaching process, people begin to trust themselves more, make decisions with greater confidence, and find their own solutions to challenges that may once have felt overwhelming.
I also value the connection and trust that develops in coaching relationships. Being able to listen, encourage, challenge, and support someone as they create meaningful change in their life is both a privilege and a source of real fulfilment for me
How do you unwind?
To unwind, I spend as much time as possible with the people I love most. I’m a big family person . I have been with my partner for 40 years and between us we have 5 children and 9 grandchildren, so life is wonderfully full, lively, and rarely quiet!
I’m also passionate about food and love any excuse to bring people together around a table — whether I’m cooking for family and friends or discovering a great restaurant somewhere new. Good food, good conversation, and lots of laughter is my idea of happiness.
I also enjoy theatre, ballet, concerts, films, art, tai chi, puzzles and travel. I love being out in the world, enjoying new experiences and making the most of life. I’m also a huge animal lover — especially my 19 year old cat Jake, who definitely tends to rule our house.
What inspired you to work with CTG?
What inspired me to work with CTG was the alignment of values. I was first introduced to Brad through someone I was training. She worked for a company that CTG was coaching and felt that Brad and I would work very well together. She believed that his values and approach closely matched my own..
After speaking to Brad and discussing how they worked as a companys I learned more about CTG and the work they were doing, I felt a strong connection to their commitment to people, growth, and transformation. It was clear to me that this was an organisation where I could genuinely contribute while staying true to the principles and values that have guided my own work for many years.
Susann Ribeck
Facilitator and Executive Coach
Susann is a highly experienced coach with over 25 years of working with individuals, leaders, and teams to create real, lasting results.
Clients have access to new pathways in leadership, career and personal transitions, performance, and working more effectively with others. Her experience spans one-to-one coaching, group work, and supporting people through periods of change, growth, and personal transformation. She has coached clients and trained other coaches across the UK, Ireland, the Middle East, Europe, Russia, South Africa, and Latin America, supporting people from a wide range of backgrounds and cultures.
Alongside this, she has delivered leadership training to groups of 30–75 people, both in person and online, supporting individuals to create projects and initiatives that make a meaningful difference in their communities and personal lives.
Before focusing fully on coaching, Susann ran her own café/deli for 15 years and a restaurant for a further 3 years, giving her a strong, real-world understanding of leading people and the day-to-day realities of business. Working closely with people from all walks of life has shaped her warm, practical, and deeply people-centred approach.
She creates a space where people feel listened to and heard which enables them to talk openly, without fear of judgement. This has them slow down, reflect, and begin to see things more clearly —where the real magic often comes from is what they discover for themselves along the way.
Her work is grounded in the belief that there’s nothing ever wrong—just something to understand and transform. She supports clients to build confidence, gently move through what’s in their way, and take meaningful action on what really matters to them.
