What do you love about coaching?
What I love most about coaching is helping leaders succeed in moments that truly matter. Throughout my career, I learned that leadership is rarely tested when everything is going well. It is tested when the path is unclear, when difficult decisions must be made, when people look to you for direction, and when business and human priorities seem to compete.
Coaching gives me the opportunity – and the deep sense of fulfilment that comes with it – to help leaders navigate those moments with greater clarity, confidence, and purpose.
Equally important, I enjoy helping leaders grow beyond immediate business results. The most impactful leaders don't simply deliver performance – they create other leaders. They build cultures, shape organizations, and leave capabilities that continue to generate value long after they have moved on.
That is what inspires my work every day: helping leaders choose to matter, create lasting impact, and build a legacy that extends far beyond themselves.
How do you unwind?
I've always believed that sustained performance requires sustained energy. Running has become an important part of my routine – not simply to stay fit, but because it gives me space to think. Away from meetings, emails, and screens, it creates the mental space where I often find clarity and new ideas.
I also enjoy reading, spending time with my family, travelling, and discovering places that combine nature, history, and culture. These moments help me step back, gain perspective, and reconnect with what matters.
After many years in demanding executive roles, I've learned that balance doesn't necessarily mean doing less; it means making space for what keeps you grounded and energized.
What inspired you to work with CTG?
Looking back, I realize that our paths were meant to cross more than 17 years ago, when I attended the first leadership program Brad delivered for the company I was working for at the time.
I was immediately impressed by his ability to inspire people, hold the stage, and guide conversations towards deeper reflection and the discovery of one’s inner force. And what impressed me equally was what stood behind that inspiration: his exceptional execution mindset, strong work ethic, and ability to transform ideas into impactful programs.
As I saw how he shaped and evolved CTG, I increasingly felt that our philosophies were deeply aligned. CTG’s commitment to developing leaders in a practical, authentic, and human way – without losing sight of business realities – reflects my own approach.
Initiatives such as Finding Your Voice, dedicated to helping the next generation of leaders discover and express their authentic leadership potential, represent to me a perfect example of where humanity meets discipline.
Joining CTG feels like a natural evolution of my journey: contributing my executive experience while continuing to help leaders grow, build stronger organizations, and create meaningful, lasting impact.

Throughout his career, Gianni has led multi-country organizations – navigating expansion, transformation, and complexity by combining strategic thinking with disciplined execution. His experience spans business leadership, organizational design, go-to-market strategy, and management development, supporting companies at different stages of maturity – from inception to enterprise-scale.
This background is what differentiates Gianni's advisory: a unique blend of coaching techniques with a pragmatic understanding of the organizational, business, and execution issues that leaders face every day. His clients value having a partner who understands both the human dimension of leading organizations and the practical responsibilities of executive roles.
Another strong differentiator of Gianni is that his work is grounded in two distinctive frameworks developed from decades of experience.
The first, My Decalogue for Impact, is a comprehensive leadership model built around ten principles that integrate the human and operational dimensions of leadership – captured by the philosophy "Where Humanity Meets Discipline." It reflects Gianni's belief that lasting impact comes from combining exemplary behaviors with operational rigor.
The second, The Execution Platform, translates strategy into action through a structured approach to organizational alignment, go-to-market design, execution excellence, and scalable business growth. Together, these frameworks provide leaders with both the mindset and the operating discipline required to achieve consistent performance.
Gianni is also committed to giving back; as such, he is an official mentor at I3P – Innovative Companies Incubator of Politecnico di Torino, supporting founders and entrepreneurial teams in strengthening leadership capabilities, refining business strategy, and building scalable ventures.
He believes that the greatest measure of leadership is not only the results achieved, but the capability created in others – the leaders developed, the culture shaped, and the organizations that continue to thrive because of the investment made in people.
That is the legacy of leadership: creating an impact that extends far beyond the boundaries of any single role, company, industry, or moment in time.
