Rachel is passionate about enabling others to be extraordinary in what they do. As a Canadian who has lived and worked on four continents, she knows a thing or two about the complexity of leading change in a global marketplace, cultivating a growth mindset, and managing diverse teams on a personal level. She draws on 20 years of experience as an executive and leadership coach, organisational development consultant.
Her practice is rooted in a blend of Adult Development Theory, Applied Positive Psychology, Systems Thinking, and real-world experience. She holds a Graduate Diploma in Applied Positive Psychology, dual Bachelors degree in Sociology, and Anthropology and has extensive training in coaching, facilitation, adult development, design thinking, and learning design. She is also accredited and works with several psychometric tools such as Insights Discovery, TILT, Hogan Assessments, and DISC.
Some of her clients have built business and teams in emerging industries and economies. Others have driven change and growth in some of the world’s largest organisations. She has helped individuals, teams, and executives in-house at notable organisations such as Twitter, McCann Worldgroup, and Triumph. As an independent coach and consultant, her reach includes Banking & Financial Services, Pharma, Education, Leisure & Travel, and Technology to name a few.
She is currently based out of Halifax, Nova Scotia and works globally as a Coach, Consultant, and Facilitator. There she leads a research project on the future of learning, exploring how forces like technology, and travel are changing the way we learn, work and play.
